Here's some of the frequently asked questions
UnZip It automatically extracts the contents of any .zip file you upload and sends each file individually back to the chat.
UnZip It only supports .zip files, we might try to add support to other compressed file formats (such as .rar files)
The maximum size of the ZIP file you can upload depends on your Discord account (Nitro or non-Nitro) (This might change in a future because the project is new and doesn't have a lot of traffic).
However, for the bot to send extracted files back, each file must be 10 MB or smaller, which is Discord’s upload limit for bots, the bot will tell u which files wasn't uploaded otherwise.
UnZip It can send any file type that was inside the ZIP, as long as each individual file is 10 MB or smaller, which is Discord’s upload limit for bots.
Images, videos, documents, audio, text files, everything is supported.
All files uploaded by the bot from the ZIP file are sent as @silent messages (Click there to know more), which means that you won't hear the message sounds even if you don't use the "Do not disturb" status.
However, messages uploaded that are not files coming from the zip files are not @silent messages
No. All files are processed temporarily. After extraction and delivery, both the ZIP and its extracted contents are permanently deleted.
No. UnZip It only works in servers and private channels within servers. Direct Messages (DMs) and Group DMs are not supported.
No. The bot does not store or sell any files or metadata. We respect the privacy of everyone.
